Es wird viel gesprochen über die "Diktatur der Kunst". Wenn es diese geben sollte, so gibt es in der Architektur auf einer Insel wie Mallorca sicher eine Diktatur der Landschaft und der Tradition, ohne in dieser verloren gehen zu müssen. Die Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Schatten und dem Licht ist genauso wichtig wie zu wissen, wo man sich befindet auf dieser Welt, als Opfer der Unschuld.

There is a lot of talk about the 'dictatorship of art'. Should there be such thing, then we surely can speak about a dictatorship of landscape and tradition within the architecture on an island like Mallorca – which doesn't necessarily mean that it will be lost over the time. The confrontation with this shadow and the light is just as important as knowing where we are in this world, as victims of innocence.
